It's time for the party. Probably you had this challenge sometime in your life. You have a party, some of the guesses are not Keto, you know many of them love lasagna and you want to impress everyone. What should I do? Good news, this recipe is exactly what you are looking for.
I cooked this lasagna many times in m parties and always get the same feedback. Everyone loved it. It is indistinguishable from normal lasagna. Even it tastes better. I used (Iso pure company). To my surprise, it has a great texture with protein powder.



How To Make A Keto Lasagna Protein Noodle

INGREDIENTS


  • 8 oz full-fat cream cheese softened
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 scoops unflavored protein powder
  • 1⁄2 tsp garlic powder Salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning or mixed of ( dried herb like tarragon, thyme)



LASAGNA FILLING


  • 1/4 cup onion minced
  • 2 Tbsp avocado oil
  • I lb ground beef
  • 1⁄4 cup chopped green bell pepper(optional) 
  • 1 cup sugar-free marinara sauce 
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning Salt and pepper



RICOTTA MIXTURE


  • 1⁄2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1egg 1 tbsp parmesan cheese
  • 1⁄4 cup chopped baby spinach (optional) And 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese for assembling



Instructions:


  1. To make a protein noodle, Preheat oven to 375°. 
  2. Line a rimmed baking pan with parchment paper In mixing bowl, using a hand mixer, combine together cream cheese and eggs.Next. add Parmesan cheese, protein powder, and spices. Mix to combine. Fold in mozzarella cheese and mix until well incorporated. 
  3. Spread the mixture into the baking dish, forming an even layer Bake for 20-25 minutes. When the "noodles' are done baking, Set cheese noodles aside to let cool While noodles are cooling, prepare your meat sauce. In a large skillet, add onion and ground beef.
  4. Cook on medium heat until meat is browned. Add in Italian seasoning and marinara sauce. Reduce to low heat and cook at a simmer for about 5 minutes. 
  5. Make a mix of ricotta cheese with parmesan and one egg with sail and garlic powder then add chopped spinach. 




ASSEMBLING LASAGNA 


  1. Evenly slice your protein noodle into thirds. Your slices should just fa into a loaf pan or casserole pan Add a thin layer of meat sauce to the bottom of the pan. 
  2. Add the first noodle layer over meat sauce. Add 1/3 of the remaining meat sauce across the first noodle layer. 
  3. Spread 3 tbsp of ricotta cheese mixture across. Sprinkle some mozzarella cheese across. Repeat with the second noodle, meat sauce, ricotta, and mozzarella. Add the third noodle. Top with remaining meat sauce. 
  4. Sprinkle on remaining mozzarella. If desired you can add a pinch of dried herb seasoning to the cheese. I like to finely crumble a pinch of dried oregano and add it to the cheese. Bake lasagna in the middle of your oven at 350F for about 25 minutes, and broil 2 minutes to allow the cheese to brown. 
  5. Let lasagna cool slightly before slicing and serving. If desired, sprinkle on some finely chopped fresh basil, oregano and parsley, and freshly grated parmesan cheese before serving.
